In a few words...

Welcome to Iceland, the westernmost country in Europe. Iceland is situated in the north Atlantic and surrounded by the waters of the Greenland Sea and the Norwegian Sea. The Mid-Atlantic Ridge runs through the middle, separating two colliding tectonic plates. Geologically speaking, it is one of the youngest and the most active places on the earth. Its extraordinary landscape is marked by lava rock formation, volcanic craters, lagoons, mountain ranges, waterfalls, hot springs and geysers. Over ten per cent of the courageous Icelanders’ territory is permanently glaciated and Vatnajokull is the largest of all ice caps. The costline varies from amazing basaltic cliffs and deep fjords to some dramatic sandy beaches. All this is in contrast with the remote plateau of the desertic Highland, with their breathtaking wilderness in this lunar landscapes. Depending on the season, Iceland also gives a possibility to observe the spectacular sight of Aurora Borealis. During this trip we will visit all three national parks – Pingvellir, Snafellsjokul and Vatnajokull - which is the largest national park in Europe. Iceland is still wonderland with it’s fabulous wildlife, and may be one of the ultimate nature trip on earth.

Rest & Sleep

The price is including 21 nights in all comfortable and variating types of accommodations. Among them are some historical and modern buildings, both offering splendid views. Except the Laugarfell Mountain Lodge they are all situated in a short walking distance from the ocean, sea, river or lake.

  • 10 nights in hotels (nine 4 stars and one 3 stars)
  • 2 nights in cottages
  • 3 nights in farm resort guesthouse (cottages)
  • 3 nights in others guesthouses
  • 3 nights in mountain lodge

Food & Drink

The price is including 18 breakfasts. The other 3 left we can prepare by ourselves as the place will provide us with a cooking facilities.
The price is including 9 dinners (6 of them 2 courses and 3 others 3 courses). On 4 others evenings we will be able to prepare food ourselves, having cooking facilities. All others dinners in Reykjavik and Seydisfjordur we can enjoy in the local restaurants (all depends on the place but in general the prices variate between 30 and 60 euros). And in Raufarhofn we can enjoy dinner in hotel restaurant or local bistro.
The price is not including any lunch and beverages. We can prepare something ourselves, ask hotel for a take away picnic or if it will be possible enjoy lunch in restaurant.

Insurance

The price is not including your insurance.

Transport

Our transport is a spacious 9 seater Renault Trafic van.

Price

4 400 euros by person, in a group of 6 people and in a double or twin room.
When you will book this trip I would like to ask you for a deposit of 25% which is an amount of 1 100 euros. The rest should be paid within one month before the trip.
